Writing My Way Back Home

I spent years writing in the margins while life took center stage. A career change finally gave me the space to step back into the light. My sound lives in the folk tradition—think John Prine's wit and wisdom meets the hopeful, horn-lifted spirit of Van Morrison's upbeat side.

I make music to remind you (and myself) that there's light ahead. I'm here to create, connect, and hopefully inspire anyone else who's ever put a dream on hold.

The Person Behind the Songs

When I'm not writing or playing, you can find me exploring small towns, searching for the perfect place to be inspired, or wandering through used record stores. I believe in the power of a good story, the magic of a catchy beat and the connection that happens when music meets an open heart.

My influences run deep in the American folk tradition, despite my Canadian roots. John Prine taught me that the best songs are honest, sometimes funny, and always human. Enjoying him live with my father in Saint John, NB embodied all of those things. Van Morrison showed me how music can lift you up, how a horn section and a hopeful lyric can make even the grayest day feel golden.

Thanks for being here. Thanks for listening. Let's make something beautiful together.
